Availability set through the Kantan App is relevant only for the Autobooking functionality for boiler services.

The Autobook functionality in our app lets you send invitations to customers to choose a four-hour time slot when you’re either unbooked or in the area. Before you can use it, you’ll need to set your availability.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Edit availability

  2. Open Weekly Availability and choose some slots where you’ll be available every week, then hit Save. We recommend 5-10 slots depending on how many invitations you are sending out.

  3. You can use Daily Availability to set exceptions to your weekly schedule, e.g. adding more slots when you have a lot of jobs to get through or turning them off when you’re going on holiday or due to sickness.

You can also select the amount of jobs per slot and customise your diary as you please. Make sure you tick the 'available on this slot' checkbox so that you open the slot up, then choose the amount of jobs you want to do in that 4 hour slot.

From the point you send jobs to Autobook, we send customers reminders over text and email over 4 weeks. Customers can book up to 6 weeks in advance. Hence, we recommend that you keep your availability up to date in the app for a period of at least 6 weeks at all times.
