Accepting Kantan callouts

Kantan callouts need to be accepted or declined within 30 minutes; after which time the job will be moved on to another engineer. You’ve got to be quick 🏃🏽🔧

Booking Kantan Callouts

During the booking process, customers will select their preferred time slots.

You’ll notice these preferred times on your callout card. You will only be able to book the jobs in the preferred slots.

Should these slots not work for you please contact the customer to arrange an alternative time or decline the job.

The Quote

Kantan callouts require a quote before any repair work takes place.

After completing the initial diagnosis you can create a quote from the job details screen of the callout.

The value you see on the app is what you will be paid if the customer approves the quote.

Once you tap “send quote for approval”, Kantan will generate a quote for the customer. This will have a higher value as it contains Kantan’s markup.

Please do not discuss prices with the customer.

Customers can accept/decline the quote

The customer will receive an email with the breakdown of the quote and an SMS with the total cost.

Customers are prompted to either accept or reject the quote via SMS. You will be sent a notification with their response.

Please note, You will be paid for the first hour at your hourly rate, regardless of the outcome.

Quote accepted

If the customer accepts the quote, you can go to the jobsheet of the callout and begin the repair.

Quote declined

If the customer declines the quote, you can close the job and provide a description of the work required and the potential reasoning for the customer's choice to decline.
